Young entrepreneur and organizer Kazi Fahad has been elected as the National President of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh, a global platform for youth leadership and personal development.

The annual general meeting of JCI Bangladesh took place on Friday, December 6, at Hotel Le Meridien in Dhaka. During the event, Fahad was chosen as the National President for a one-year term through a formal voting process, according to a press release.

Kazi Fahad, who is the Managing Director of Kazi Printing and Accessories, also holds the position of Director at the Bangladesh Garments Accessories and Packaging Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGAPMEA).

In his inaugural address, Fahad expressed his vision for the organization, stating, “As the largest non-political youth platform in Bangladesh, JCI aims to foster the skills and creativity of young people. In the coming year, we will focus on creating employment opportunities and strengthening global business connections for Bangladeshi youth.”

The election process was supervised by Md Ziaul Haque Bhuiyan, the outgoing president, who served as the Election Commissioner. Founding President Masud Mannan and Shakhawat Hossain Mamun were also key members of the election commission.
