In the ceremony, The Chief Representative of JICA Bangladesh Office expressed: “Today we have agreed to implement 2 two different types of projects. However, the objective of the 2 projects is one, which is to support people of Bangladesh to advance forward for prosperous, inclusive and sustainable development. The Jamuna Railway Bridge is expected to come into operation in early 2025 and will boost rail connectivity between the eastern and western zone of Bangladesh. The Chattogram Sewerage System Development Project will significantly benefit the people of Chattogram by improving sanitation and enhancing public health, making the city a more livable place for all its residents.
