Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, “Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami will not give any false assurances beyond its capacity. Only those plans that are feasible for us to implement will be presented to the nation and if we get the support of the nation, they will be implemented.”

He said these things at a live exchange of views and question and answer program titled ‘Hello Our Leader’ organized by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital on Tuesday (December 30) morning. Students, youth and young citizens from various educational institutions of the country participated in the program.

The Ameer-e-Jamaat further said, “Jamaat-e-Islami has already published the ‘People’s Manifesto’ to know the thoughts and expectations of the citizens. The suggestions, thoughts and dreams received from there will be included in our final manifesto, InshaAllah. Giving utmost importance to the thoughts of the youth, a step-by-step plan is being prepared, which will take shape into practical programs.
Calling upon the ‘Generation G’ of the country, i.e. the students and youth, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, the late Sharif Osman Hadi was an uncompromising and courageous voice against hegemony. Embracing his ideals, the youth should stand up for Bangladesh and say – ‘I am Hadi’.”
He further said, “Real youth is not in age, but in mental fortitude. Retreating at the slightest obstacle means lack of leadership. Jamaat-e-Islami wants to build a Bangladesh of such youth who will stand firm against injustice.”
