The 43rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC was held on Wednesday (September 16, 2026) at the Kurmitola Golf Club in the capital.
The bank’s Chairman, Mohammed Zahir Hossain, presided over the meeting. Managing Director (Acting) Md. Altaf Hussain, Chairman of the Shari’ah Supervisory Committee Mufti Shamsuddin Zia, Additional Managing Director Dr. M Kamal Uddin Jasim, and Company Secretary Md. Habibur Rahman, along with a significant number of shareholders, participated in the meeting.
The financial statements for the year 2025 were approved at the meeting.
