Gazipur District Police pays tribute on the great Victory Day

Today is December 16, the great Victory Day. On this day, achieved through long sacrifices, deprivation and nine months of bloody great liberation war, independent Bangladesh emerged. The nation remembers those whose sacrifices were in exchange for this victory with deep respect today.

On this historic day in 1971, Bangladesh achieved its final victory. On the occasion of the great Victory Day, Gazipur District Police paid deep respect and honor to all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the great liberation war. On this occasion, Gazipur Superintendent of Police Mr. Md. Sharif Uddin placed a wreath at the designated place in memory of the martyrs.

Later, the Superintendent of Police participated in the national flag hoisting, parade and award distribution ceremony organized at the Gazipur Shaheed Barkat Stadium.

At that time, senior officials of Gazipur District Police, officials of various levels and other respected persons were present.
