Former US Ambassador William B. Milam and former Deputy Ambassador John Danilovich pay courtesy call on Jamaat Ameer
Former US Ambassador to Bangladesh William B. Milam and former Deputy Ambassador of the United States John Danilovich met with Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman at the central office of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami on Monday (March 10, 2025) at 11:30 am. Jamaat-e-Islami’s Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Dr. Syed Abdullah Md. Taher were present at the time.
The meeting was held in a very sincere and cordial atmosphere. During the meeting, they exchanged greetings. During this time, they openly discussed the overall situation prevailing in Bangladesh, especially the establishment of democracy in Bangladesh after the August Revolution, elections and human rights, as well as various bilateral issues of interest. They expressed hope that the existing mutual relations between Bangladesh and the United States will be further strengthened in the future.
