Former Chief Justice ABM Khairul Haque has been arrested by the Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
He was arrested from a house in Dhanmondi in the capital at around 8:30 am today, Thursday (July 24, 2025).
Deputy Commissioner of the Media and Public Relations Department of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police, Muhammad Talebur Rahman, confirmed this information. The former Chief Justice has been brought to the DB office on Minto Road in the capital.
