Foreign Affairs Advisor Towhid Hossain pays courtesy call on Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay

Bangladesh Foreign Affairs Advisor Mr. Md. Towhid Hossain paid a courtesy call on Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay on Saturday (November 22, 2025). The meeting was held in Dhaka, where bilateral relations, regional cooperation, trade, connectivity and various issues of mutual interest were discussed.

Earlier, Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay arrived in Dhaka on Saturday morning on a three-day official visit (November 22–24, 2025). His visit is expected to further deepen Bangladesh-Bhutan friendly relations. During the visit, he will hold meetings with various high-level leaders including the Chief Adviser of Bangladesh and will participate in several important programs.
