Foreign Affairs Adviser to visit US to attend UN Palestine Conference

Bangladesh’s Foreign Affairs Adviser Md. Towhid Hossain left for the US on Sunday (July 27, 2025) to attend the High-Level International Conference on the Peaceful Settlement of the Palestine Crisis and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution at the UN Headquarters.

The two-day ministerial conference will be held in New York on July 28-29. France and Saudi Arabia are jointly organizing the conference in light of Resolution A/RES/79/81 adopted by the UN General Assembly in December 2024.

Advisor Towhid Hossain will participate in the discussions of the conference and strive to inject new momentum towards the two-state solution in the context of the ongoing humanitarian and political crisis in Gaza, where foreign ministers from different countries of the world and senior UN officials will also be present.
