Field level officials must work to meet people’s expectations: Land Minister

Land Minister Md. Mizanur Rahman Minu has said that field level officials across the country must work to meet people’s expectations.

He said this at the inauguration of the ’14th Higher Land Management Course’ for Additional District Administrators and the ’18th Higher Land Management Course’ for Upazila Nirbahi Officers’ organized at the Land Administration Training Center in the capital on Sunday (March 29, 2026) morning.

The minister said that the concerned officials must come forward quickly to solve the problems of the people who come to the land office with various problems. He said that we have many laws and regulations regarding land problems, which field level officials must learn. There is no alternative to training in this regard.

Warmly greeting the participants of the training course, the minister said that everyone should be focused on implementing the instructions of the current democratic government to move Bangladesh forward in the future. He called for providing land services to the people with transparency and in a very nice manner.

The program was chaired by Mohammad Abul Khair, Director of the Land Administration Training Center of the Ministry of Land, and was addressed by Land Reforms Board Chairman AJM Salahuddin Nagri, Additional Secretary (Law) of the Ministry of Land, Md. Abdur Rouf, and Additional Secretary Nasrin Jahan.
