FBCCI-led Bangladeshi Delegation Explores Trade & Investment Opportunities in Mozambique

On Wednesday (December 3, 2025), a Bangladeshi delegation led by Mr. Md. Alamgir, Secretary General of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), held a productive meeting with leaders of the Mozambique Chamber of Commerce (CCM) at the CCM Headquarters in Maputo.

The Bangladeshi delegation included Mr. Mohammad Hashib Sarker, Senior Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Mr. Merali Yunus, Honorary Consul of Bangladesh in Mozambique, along with several Bangladeshi business representatives residing in Mozambique.

On the Mozambican side, the discussion was led by Ms. Yolanda Fernandes, Vice President of CCM, alongside Mr. Marcos Cuembelo, Acting Secretary General of CCM, and other CCM members.

During the meeting, both sides explored avenues for bilateral trade and investment cooperation, focusing on strengthening economic ties between Bangladesh and Mozambique. The discussions highlighted potential areas for collaboration and mutual growth, reflecting the growing interest of Bangladeshi businesses in the African market.
