Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has said that every letter and word of the July Charter will be implemented step by step. He stressed that the government’s position on this issue is clear and there will be no deviation in implementing the promise.
He said these things while addressing a public meeting held at Altafunnesa Playground in Bogra city on Monday (April 20, 2026) as the chief guest. He said, “In front of thousands of people and in the presence of the media, I want to say it clearly again – we will implement every word of the July Charter that the Bangladesh Nationalist Party signed while standing in the South Plaza of the Parliament, one by one, InshaAllah.”
The Prime Minister alleged that despite clearly informing the matter, some political parties are trying to mislead the people in and outside the Parliament.
The Prime Minister’s wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman was present at the public meeting. The program was presided over by District BNP President and local MP Rezaul Karim Badsha and moderated by District BNP Acting General Secretary and MP Mosharraf Hossain.
Local leaders, activists and a large number of common people participated in the public meeting.
