Empowering Women in STEM at North South University

On October 16, a stimulating interactive session titled ‘Fireside Chat: Inspiring role model talks for the future leaders in STEM’ was held at North South University campus. The key focus was to inspire and empower female students to embark on rewarding careers in STEM. This event highlighted the vital role of mentorship and education in helping women unlock their potential in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

An outstanding group of speakers, including Mushfiqua Zaman Satiar, Senior Policy Advisor from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bangladesh; Md. Moynul Haque Bhuiyan, Deputy Secretary (Human Resource Development Branch) from the ICT Division; and officials from a2i and other stakeholders shared their expertise among the enthralled audience.

SheSTEM Initiative fosters collaborations between industry and academia to enhance employability skills and promote gender-equitable practices.
