Ambassador of Switzerland to Bangladesh Reto Renggli on Saturday (6 September) hosted a reception at the Embassy to bid farewell to Ms. Corinne Henchoz Pignani, Deputy Head of Mission and Head of Cooperation, who has completed her tenure in Bangladesh.
Ambassador Renggli expressed his sincere gratitude to Ms. Pignani for her dedication and tireless efforts over the past years, which have significantly contributed to strengthening Swiss-Bangladeshi relations.
At the same event, the Ambassador warmly welcomed Mr. Diepak Elmer as the new Deputy Head of Mission and Head of Cooperation. He noted that Mr. Elmer brings valuable prior experience from his previous work in Bangladesh, which will support him in his new role. Ambassador Renggli wished him every success in his responsibilities.
