In order to properly perform their duties in the upcoming elections, election training has begun in districts and upazilas across the country in conjunction with the ongoing training program of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Forces.
In coordination with the ongoing 28-day VDP Advanced Course, necessary exercises have been included as preparation for election duty.
Under this training, the force members are being given hands-on exercises on several issues including what to do in elections, performing duties at polling stations, maintaining discipline at the center, assisting voters in voting, and ensuring the security of ballot papers and ballot boxes.
The force members are participating in this exercise voluntarily.
