As part of the preparations for the Great Independence and National Day-2026, Director General of the force, Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud, participated in a cordial Iftar and Doa Mahfil with the officers and members of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force (VDP) contingent at the National Parade Square Ground.
The Director General was accompanied by Additional Director General of the force, Brigadier General Mamunur Rashid, along with other senior officers and members participating in the contingent.
Before Iftar, the Director General inspected the preparations and overall management of the parade and expressed satisfaction with it. He gave necessary directions to make the parade more orderly and attractive.
Before Iftar, special prayers and supplications were held for the development, progress and prosperity of the country and the nation.
The concerned people believe that such a sincere arrangement by the Director General with the members of the force will further strengthen their morale. As a result, the participation of Ansar and VDP members in the parade on the occasion of the great Independence and National Day-2026 on March 26 will be more attractive, orderly and smooth.
