Dhaka Chamber (DCCI) delegation participates in business forum organized by Ceylon Chamber in Sri Lanka

A special business forum was organized by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in which a visiting business delegation of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) participated. The forum was held at the Hilton Colombo Residence Hotel in Colombo on Tuesday (June 17, 2025).

Sri Lanka’s Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, Mr. Sunil Handunnetty, was present as the chief guest at the event.

The delegation was led by DCCI President Mr. Taskin Ahmed.

Also present at the event were Duminda Hulangamuwa, Chairman of Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. Andalib Elias, High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Sri Lanka.

The forum discussed the potential for increasing trade and investment between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, mutual cooperation, and various aspects of working in joint ventures.
