BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman said that no one can suppress BNP through conspiracy. The state cannot avoid responsibility for those who have been victims of disappearances and murders. If BNP comes to power, roads will be named after these martyrs.

Tarique Rahman said these things at a view-sharing meeting held at the China Friendship International Conference Center in the capital on Saturday (January 17, 2026).

He also said, “The people of Bangladesh have started walking on the path of democracy. There is nothing to comfort mothers who lost their children and sisters who lost their husbands during the dictatorship.”

The BNP Chairman warned at the meeting that everyone must be vigilant so that no one can conspire. To establish every justice, the establishment of a democratic government is essential.

The meeting was organized by ‘We are BNP Paribas’ and ‘Mayer Dak’ to exchange views with the family members of the victims of persecution, disappearances and murders.
