Cultural Advisor calls for increased UK support for Bangladesh’s cultural sector

Culture plays a crucial role in building an inclusive society and driving economic growth. Recognizing this, British High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Sarah Cooke, held her first meeting with the Prime Minister’s Cultural Affairs Adviser, Mostofa Sarwar Farooki.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen the UK’s support for Bangladesh’s cultural sector and explored opportunities in the creative economy.
