On Monday (September 29, 2025), the Chinese Permanent Embassy in Bangladesh hosted the pre-departure gathering for the 2025 Second Batch of Bangladesh Diplomatic Training Program. Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen attended and delivered a speech at the event. Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam, Secretary and Rector of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, was also invited to the event.

Ambassador Yao Wen said that the program is for the fourth batch of young diplomats participating in the training initiative jointly organized by the Chinese Embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh.
