Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Mr. Yao Wen paid a courtesy call on H.E. Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Honorable Advisor to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and the Ministry of Water Resources, on Sunday (September 28, 2025).
During the meeting, the two sides discussed in detail various aspects of China-Bangladesh bilateral relations and opportunities for cooperation in water resources management and conservation. Ambassador Yao Wen reiterated China’s continued support for Bangladesh’s environmentally friendly and sustainable development.
Advisor Syeda Rizwana Hasan expressed her interest in strengthening future cooperation in water management and climate change mitigation in Bangladesh, praising China’s development experience and technical assistance.
