Eminent physician Dr. Zubaida Rahman said, ‘Children are the future of the nation. They are the future of Bangladesh, the soldiers of nation building.’
She said these things after visiting the Child Care and Rehabilitation Center located in Tejgaon in the capital on Monday (July 6, 2026) morning.
During the visit, Dr. Zubaida Rahman visited the various activities of the center and spent time with the children there. She expressed satisfaction with the children’s presentations, cultural performances and the overall environment.
She said, ‘The foundation of children’s lives is being built in this institution. Human values like honesty, discipline and regularity are being taught here, which will play an important role in their future lives.’
Dr. Zubaida Rahman also said that the joint efforts of the family, society and the state are needed to ensure the proper development of a child. If a safe, education-friendly and value-based environment is created for children, they will lead the development and progress of the country in the future.
He expressed hope that through education and good upbringing, these children from the rehabilitation center will succeed in their respective fields in the future and make Bangladesh shine.
