As in previous years, four distinguished women have been honored with the Begum Rokeya Padak 2025 in recognition of their outstanding contributions to women’s education, women’s rights, human rights, and women’s empowerment.




On Tuesday (9 December 2025) morning, at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital, the Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus presented the awards as the chief guest at the Begum Rokeya Day 2025 celebration and award ceremony organized by the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.
This year’s award recipients are: Ruvana Rakib for Women’s Education (Research), Kalpana Akter for Women’s Rights (Labor Rights), Rituparna Chakma for Women’s Empowerment (Sports), and Nabila Idris Begum in the Human Rights category.
