Professor Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser to the Interim Government, has arrived in New York, USA, to attend the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly. He landed at John F. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport at 3 pm local time on Monday (September 22, 2025).
He was welcomed at the airport by Salahuddin Noman Chowdhury, Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the United Nations, and Tarek Md. Ariful Islam, Bangladesh Ambassador to the United States.
