Chevron delegation pays courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman

Desk Report:

A delegation from multinational energy company Chevron paid a courtesy call on Honorable Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at the Prime Minister’s Office in the Bangladesh Secretariat on Tuesday (April 28, 2026).

Various issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting. Chevron Corporation’s Base Assets and Emerging Countries (BAEC) President Xavier La Rosa and Chevron Bangladesh President Eric M. Walker were present.

Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Iqbal Hassan Mahmud Tuku, Prime Minister’s Advisor on Finance and Planning Dr. Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir and State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Anindya Islam Amit participated in the meeting on behalf of the government.
