During the discussion with the Bangladesh Chef Federation, His Excellency the President of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Mr. Md. Sahabuddin, said that the experienced chefs of our country are contributing with great reputation at home and abroad through their varied and traditional cuisines. Our experienced chefs are presenting the tradition of cooking and food of our country in the world. The chefs of our country are working in different countries around the world to keep the country’s reputation intact and also playing a role in earning foreign exchange for the country.
Recently, when the leaders of Bangladesh Chef Federation had a courtesy meeting with His Excellency the President at Bangabhaban, President Mr. Md. Sahabuddin said these things during the exchange of views with the leaders. His Excellency the President addressed the leaders of the Bangladesh Chef Federation and said that the government has created advanced training opportunities for young chefs. The government has created many new technical educational institutes from which chefs are trained and are playing important roles in the country and abroad. These institutions are also playing a significant role in reducing unemployment in the country. Chef Federation expressed its gratitude to the government for these steps taken by the government. His Excellency the President expressed satisfaction over the formation of Chef Federation in Bangladesh and thanked and congratulated the leaders of the Federation.

President of Bangladesh Chef Federation Zahir Khan, Advisor of Chef Federation and Director of Food and Beverage Department of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel Kazi Moazzem Hossain, Advisor of Chef Federation, Akkas Uddin, Managing Director of Asria Group, a prominent restaurant tourism businessman, were present during the meeting with His Excellency the President.
