CEC calls for spontaneous voting in referendum and 13th National Parliament elections

On the occasion of the referendum and the 13th National Parliament elections, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin has called on all voters of the country to spontaneously attend the polling stations and exercise their right to vote. At the same time, he requested all concerned to maintain a peaceful and harmonious environment.

The CEC made this call in his address to the nation on Wednesday (February 11, 2026) evening. He said, “Everyone should spontaneously come to the polling stations, vote and accept victory or defeat.”

Finally, the CEC called on the countrymen to behave responsibly and uphold democratic values ​​to make the referendum and the National Parliament elections successful and meaningful.
