Brunei High Commissioner in Dhaka pays courtesy call on Jamaat Ameer

Today, Monday (December 8, 2025), Brunei High Commissioner in Dhaka, Haji Haris bin Osman, paid a courtesy call on the Honorable Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, at his Bashundhara office. He was accompanied by the First Secretary of the High Commission, Mr. Rozaimi Abdullah.

During this meeting, which was held in a very sincere and cordial atmosphere, the constructive role of Jamaat-e-Islami in various democratic movements, including the 24th People’s Revolution, was highlighted.

Strong optimism was expressed that the economic development, progress and prosperity of the two brotherly countries will be further strengthened in the future.

Professor Dr. Mahmudul Hasan, Foreign Affairs Advisor to the Ameer-e-Jamaat, was present at the meeting.
