BPL to start on December 26, final on January 23

The full schedule of the 12th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) has finally been announced, ending all speculation. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officially released the schedule on Tuesday. The much-awaited BPL will kick off on December 26 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, and the month-long tournament will end with the final match on January 23.

According to the schedule, this year’s tournament will start with the Sylhet phase and two matches will be played each day. The first match will start at 1 pm, the second at 6 pm. However, the match starting times on Friday have been set at 2 pm and 7 pm.

Sylhet Titans and Rajshahi Warriors will face each other in the first match of the opening day. Noakhali Express and Chittagong Royals will take the field in the second match of the same day.

The Sylhet phase of the BPL will continue until January 2. After that, the tournament will be held in Chittagong from January 5 to 12. The final heat will spread in Dhaka, where the Dhaka phase will begin on January 15 and the play-offs and final will be held here. Reserve days have also been set aside for important matches.
