Boro paddy yield satisfactory – Agriculture Advisor
Agriculture and Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said that the yield of Boro paddy in the country is satisfactory. Boro paddy harvesting will be completed within the stipulated time.

The advisor said these things while inspecting the paddy harvesting and threshing at Arial Beel in Srinagar Upazila of Munshiganj today (April 26, 2025) and exchanging views with farmers.
At this time, Industry, Housing and Public Works Advisor Adilur Rahman Khan, Agriculture Secretary Dr. Mohammad Emdad Ullah Mian and senior officials of the district were present.

The agricultural advisor said that Arial Beel is an area with natural diversity. Everyone should be committed to protecting the biodiversity and environment here. Necessary measures have been taken for water drainage and crop transportation in Arial Beel and adjacent areas.
The advisor listened to the various problems of the farmers and assured them of solutions.
When the farmers requested to withdraw the case filed against the farmers protesting against the construction of the airport at Arial Beel, the advisor assured them of taking necessary measures to withdraw their case. When the farmers requested to set up patrol posts to stop illegal land trading, the advisor instructed the concerned to set up patrol posts on an urgent basis.
In an exchange of views with the farmers, Industry, Housing and Public Works Advisor Adilur Rahman Khan said that the locals will cooperate in protecting the environment of Arial Beel. Projects have been taken for the development of Munshiganj. The project work should be done properly. The government is working in such a way that there is no shortage of food in the country and it is self-sufficient in food.
