BNP has decided to form ‘investigation and fact-finding committee’ in Mitford incident

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has decided to form an ‘investigation and fact-finding committee’ to investigate the underlying causes of the brutal murder on the premises of Mitford Hospital in the capital.

The investigation committee will uncover the real truth in the incident and it will be made public, said the party’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

He made this known at a press conference at the BNP Chairperson’s political office in Gulshan, the capital, on Monday (July 14, 2025).

He said, “BNP’s party position on speedy trial and exemplary punishment for every murder is firm and unchanged.”

Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, “To investigate the underlying cause of this brutal murder, we have decided to form an ‘investigation and fact-finding committee’ consisting of appropriate individuals, who will uncover the real truth and it will be revealed to the public.”
