BNP-backed Kazi Syedul Alam Babul-Tulu panel wins Gazipur Red Crescent Unit election

The BNP-backed Babul-Tulu panel has won the Gazipur unit election of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society. Voting was held at the Gazipur District Council auditorium on Monday (December 22, 2025).

The election was held in a peaceful and festive atmosphere. The BNP-backed Kazi Syedul Alam Babul and A.M. Ashraf Hossain Tulu panels achieved complete victory.

The winning vice-president Kazi Syedul Alam Babul is known as the organizing secretary of BNP’s Dhaka division. Secretary A.M. Ashraf Hossain Tulu is the current secretary and BNP leader; he is also active as a film actor.

Gazipur City Corporation Secretary Md. Amin Al Parvez served as the Chief Election Commissioner for the election. Ahmed Hossain Bhuiyan, Deputy Director (Local Government), Gazipur District Administration, and Mohammad Mustafizur Rahman (Kamal), General Secretary, Gazipur District Bar Association, were the Election Commissioners. Molla Touhidul Islam Nayan, Unit Level Officer, Gazipur Red Crescent Unit, was the Member Secretary for the election.
