BIMSTEC Leaders Observe One Minute Silence for Myanmar and Thailand Earthquake Victims

Ahead of the Sixth BIMSTEC Summit, leaders of the BIMSTEC member states observed a one-minute silence in memory of the victims of the recent devastating earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand.

On Friday (4 April, 2025) in Bangkok, Nobel Laureate and Chief Adviser of Bangladesh, Professor Muhammad Yunus, along with other BIMSTEC leaders, expressed their deep condolences for those affected by the disaster. They extended their sympathies to the victims’ families and assured necessary support for the affected communities.
