BGMEA Sammilito Parishad organized a discussion meeting and Iftar Mahfil

On Sunday, March 9, 2025, BGMEA Sammilito Parishad organized a discussion meeting and Iftar Mahfil at Bangladesh Golf Garden, Army Golf Club.

The event was attended by Abul Kalam, Chairman of Chaiti Group and Panel Leader of Sammilito Parishad; Kazi Moniruzzaman, President of Sammilito Parishad and former President of BGMEA; former Minister and former BGMEA President Redowan Ahmed; former BGMEA President Engineer Kutubuddin Ahmed; former BGMEA President Khandaker Rafiqul Islam; as well as top leaders and business representatives from the country’s garment industry.

Sammilito Parishad Panel Leader Md. Abul Kalam stated, “If we win the upcoming election, Sammilito Parishad will systematically advance the garment industry.” He further added, “If the government ensures an adequate supply of gas and electricity, it will be possible to achieve the target of $60 billion in garment export earnings within the next five years. This will create 3.9 million new jobs, which will be highly beneficial for the country’s economy.”

The event concluded with prayers and supplications for the prosperity of the country, the development of the garment sector, and the well-being of workers.
