Anwar Hossain, Administrator of BGMEA, recently visited the 10th edition of Leathertech Bangladesh 2024—the country’s largest leather industry exhibition, held in Dhaka.
The event, showcasing cutting-edge leather, footwear machinery, components, chemicals, and accessories, highlighted the growing potential of Bangladesh’s leather sector.
During his visit, Anwar Hossain, also Vice-Chairman of Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), emphasized the importance of diversifying export sectors such as leather, pharmaceuticals, ICT, and shipbuilding.
He stressed that a strong, diversified export base is essential for enhancing the economy’s resilience and ensuring sustainable growth.
