Bangladesh’s first Hajj flight has arrived in Saudi Arabia. Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight BG 3001 landed at King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah at 4:20 am local time today. There were 419 pilgrims on this flight.
Bangladeshi pilgrims were welcomed at the airport by Bangladesh Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Md. Delwar Hossain and Counselor (Hajj) Md. Kamrul Islam.
At this time, the pilgrims were greeted with flowers and refreshment kits were handed over to them.
At this time, Consul General of Bangladesh Consulate in Jeddah Md. Sakhawat Hossain, Assistant Seasonal Hajj Officer Md. Ruhul Amin, Head of Operations of Jeddah Hajj Terminal Ihahiya Radi, and Manager of Nusuk Marhaba, a Saudi organization engaged in the reception of Hajj pilgrims, Raed Bakshaun, were present.
It is worth noting that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman inaugurated Hajj Flight-2026 at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka yesterday.
