Bangladesh women’s national football team receives love from airport to Hatirjheel as they qualify for AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026

After the glorious success of qualifying for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026, a wave of love has descended on Dhaka to welcome the Bangladesh women’s national football team. The capital was filled with the excitement of supporters from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to Hatirjheel.

A colorful reception began immediately after the women’s team arrived at the airport. The players were welcomed with national flags and flowers. Then a cultural and joyful program was organized, where in addition to sports fans and common people, dignitaries were present.

Cultural advisor and renowned producer Mostafa Sarwar Farooqui was present at the program. Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) President Tabith Awal and members of the executive committee also joined the celebration.
