A business conference has been held in Sylhet to implement Agrani Bank PLC’s 2026 business targets and further strengthen debt collection activities.
The conference, organized on Saturday (July 18, 2026) at the conference room of Sylhet Circle, was attended by the bank’s Managing Director Md. Anwarul Islam as the chief guest. Deputy Managing Directors Md. Abul Bashar and Rubana Parveen were special guests.
The conference, chaired by Sylhet Circle General Manager Shirin Akhter, was attended by regional heads under the circle, corporate branch heads, branch managers and respected customers of the bank.
Speaking as the chief guest at the conference, Managing Director Md. Anwarul Islam urged all concerned to work sincerely for the implementation of the 2026 business progress and targets. He laid special emphasis on increasing deposit collection, strengthening classified loan collection, increasing foreign remittance collection and expanding SME loan distribution at the marginal level.
During this time, necessary guidelines were provided to make the overall business activities of the bank more dynamic and improve the quality of customer service. The participants expressed their determination to work collectively to achieve the set business goals for 2026.
