Sonali Life holds managers training & business dev meeting in Ctg

Sonali LIfe Insurance company on Saturday arranged the Managers Training and Business Development Meeting of the Territory of ‘Deputy Managing Director Mohiuddin Farooqui’ in Chittagong.

The meeting was held at the Mohana Conference Hall of Radisson Blu hotel in the port city of Chittagong.

Sheikh Md. Daniel, Director of Sonali Life attended the meeting as the chief guest with SM Mohiuddin Faruki, Deputy Managing Director of Sonali Life in the chair.

Acting Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Rafiqul Islam and Sonali Life CFO Md. Abdul Hannan FCA also spoke on the occasion.

Also present were Assistant Managing Director Satyajit Das Gupta, Maulana Mohammad Alauddin, Assistant General Manager Mohammad Mohiuddin, and all branch managers and unit managers of the Chittagong Territory.

Emdadul Haque Sahil, Assistant Managing Director of Sonali Life, conducted the training program at the event.

The speakers provided guidance on the necessary measures to formulate and implement Sonali Life’s business action plan for 2025 and its implementation.

They also shed light on Sonali Life’s achievements in the last 12 years and future problems and prospects.

It is worth noting that out of 246 branch offices of Sonali Life, 107 branch offices in the Chittagong division alone are conducting their overall operations successfully with due efficiency.

Meanwhile, Sonali Life is providing uninterrupted service to its customers through 33 branch offices in Chittagong district alone.

Sonali Life has maintained its consistency in paying insurance claims as always, and has paid approximately Tk 178 crore till July 2025 alone.

In addition, Chittagong Division maintained its lead in premium income, with the first-year premium income in the last seven months being more than Tk 56 crore and renewal premium income being around Tk 153 crore.
