Chinese medical team assures all-round cooperation in the treatment of plane crash victims

A Chinese medical team visiting Bangladesh has assured all-round cooperation to Bangladesh in the treatment of the victims of the tragic plane crash that occurred at Milestone School and College in Uttara.

A medical team comprising specialist doctors and nurses from Wuhan Third Hospital in China continued their activities at the Bangladesh Institute of Burns and Plastic Surgery Hospital under Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in Dhaka on Saturday (July 26, 2025).

They inspected the wounds of the injured and advised them on how to prevent infection, helped in cleaning the wounds and changing the dressings, and participated in the preparatory work for surgery and arterial puncture. They jointly discussed the treatment of the patients with Bangladeshi doctors. Chinese doctors also participated in joint consultation meetings with medical teams from Singapore and India.

The Chinese medical team said that they are ready to cooperate as much as possible in the treatment of the injured in Bangladesh. They expressed their commitment to working closely with doctors in Bangladesh and standing by them during this critical moment.
