China, FAO Discuss Trilateral Cooperation to Boost Agriculture and Food Security in Bangladesh

China and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations have held high-level discussions aimed at strengthening trilateral cooperation in agriculture and food security in Bangladesh.

On Thursday (July 24), Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Mr. Yao Wen met with Mr. Ye Anping, Director of the South-South and Triangular Cooperation Division at FAO Headquarters. During the meeting, they engaged in an in-depth discussion on implementing practical and effective collaborative initiatives involving China, FAO, and Bangladesh.

Dr. Shi Jiaqun, FAO Representative in Bangladesh, also attended the meeting.

The discussions focused on advancing concrete projects that can contribute to the sustainable development of Bangladesh’s agriculture sector and enhance national food security.
