Nepal Embassy hosts reception in honour of Bangladeshi journalists

The Embassy of Nepal, Dhaka hosted a reception in honour of Bangladeshi journalists and media workers on Friday (July 4, 2025) evening.

In his welcome address, Nepalese Ambassador to Bangladesh Mr. Ghanshyam Bhandari appreciated the positive role of the media in strengthening the friendly relations between Bangladesh and Nepal. He expressed gratitude to the journalists for their ‘storytelling’, which reflects mutual trust, respect and growing cooperation between the two countries.

Ambassador Bhandari highlighted the recent progress made in Bangladesh-Nepal bilateral relations in trade, communication, energy, education, tourism and public engagement.

The journalists participating in the event considered the event as a symbol of sincere gratitude and respect and expressed hope that the role of the media would continue to strengthen Bangladesh-Nepal relations in the future.
