National Citizens Party leaders meet British High Commissioner

National Citizens Party leaders recently met with British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Sarah Cook in a courtesy call. The party was represented by Nahid Islam and Dr. Tasneem Zara.

The meeting was part of the UK’s ongoing engagement with various political parties in Bangladesh. During the meeting, High Commissioner Sarah Cook reiterated the UK’s commitment to continue its support to Bangladesh in its journey towards a democratic, inclusive and prosperous future.

The National Citizens Party leaders exchanged views on the country’s current political context, the development of democracy and the inclusion of the youth.
