Commerce Secretary Mahbubur Rahman said that Ramadan and Eid Festival will be a gathering place for food lovers and businessmen.
He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of Ramadan and Eid Festival 2025 organized by X-Group Chain Restaurant and Hospitality Management at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center on Wednesday (March 12, 2025) morning.
The Commerce Secretary said that Ramadan and Eid Festival will play an important role in making the life of citizens joyful and enjoyable.
The program was presided over by Md. Jahangir Alam, CEO of X-Group Chain Restaurant and Hospitality Management, and Anwar Hossain Chowdhury, Managing Director of SME Foundation, and Abdul Quader, Managing Director of Beam Show, were present as special guests.
Earlier, the Commerce Secretary inaugurated the formal festival by cutting the ribbon and releasing balloons.
The organizers informed that visitors will be able to enjoy various products and experiences of the Ramadan and Eid Festival 2025 from today.
The festival will feature traditional and modern iftar items, festive clothing, household products and various lifestyle items.
The festival will be open to everyone from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM daily from March 12 to March 26, 2025 at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center.
