Professor Abrar takes oath as advisor

Former professor of the Department of International Relations of Dhaka University, Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar (CR Abrar) has taken oath as the new advisor of the interim government.

Today, Wednesday (March 5, 2025), President Md. Shahabuddin administered the oath to him at Bangabhaban at 11 am. The oath-taking ceremony was conducted by Cabinet Secretary Md. Sheikh Abdur Rashid.

Earlier, at a media briefing organized at the Foreign Service Academy on Hare Road in the capital yesterday (Tuesday), the Chief Advisor’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam informed the media about the oath-taking. At that time, the Press Secretary said that he can take charge of the Ministry of Education as an advisor.
