23rd Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show 2025 (Winter Edition) kicks off at ICCB, Dhaka

The four-day 23rd Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show 2025 – Winter Edition, jointly organized by Conference and Exhibition Management Services (CEMS-Global USA) and the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT Tex China), has started from January 15-18. The 7th Dhaka International Denim Show 2025 is being held concurrently.

The two exhibitions were inaugurated on Wednesday, January 15, at the Rajdarshan Hall of the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB). Anwar Hossain, Vice Chairman, Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Administrator, Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) were present as the chief guests at the inauguration ceremony. The guests of honor were Song Yang, Commercial Consulate, The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Bangladesh and Mohammad Hatem, President, Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA). The special guests were Dr. Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir, Secretary and Executive Member (Investment Ecosystem), Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), Office of the Principal Advisor, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh; Zhang Jian, Secretary, The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Bangladesh. Also present were Zhang Tao, Vice President, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT Tex China) and Meherun N. Islam, President and Group Managing Director, SEMS-Global USA & Asia Pacific.

The two international exhibitions will be held from 15-18 January 2025 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Kuril, Dhaka for four days from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily, with the participation of stakeholders from Bangladesh, South Asia and the global textile and garment industry. Around 325 companies from more than 15 countries are participating in the two exhibitions with more than 650 booths. In addition, 4 international seminars will be held during the exhibition.
