Newly elected President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir paid deep respect to the martyrs of the great Liberation War at the National Memorial in Savar.
He entered the National Memorial at 10:22 am on Saturday (August 22). Later, the President paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the great Liberation War by placing a wreath at the altar of the memorial.
After placing the wreath, he stood in silence for a while and paid deep respect to the memory of the countless martyrs of the great Liberation War.
