Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed, member of the party’s national standing committee and senior joint secretary general, has been appointed as the acting secretary general of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). He will also serve as the party’s spokesperson.
This information was given in a press release sent by BNP on Thursday (August 20).
The release said that according to Article 7(b)6 of the BNP constitution, National Standing Committee member Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has been nominated as the acting secretary general of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).
It also said that Ruhul Kabir Rizvi’s nomination will be effective immediately.
