Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi met Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. This is the first time he has met the Prime Minister since assuming office in Bangladesh in June.
The meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s Office at the Bangladesh Secretariat after 11 am today (August 10).
Sources said that the meeting discussed bilateral relations between Bangladesh and India, various issues of mutual interest and possible areas for further strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the future.
When Indian High Commissioner Dinesh Trivedi reached the Prime Minister’s Office at the Secretariat around 11 am, he was given a warm welcome. Later, he participated in the meeting with the Prime Minister.
Sources said that the meeting discussed further advancing the existing relations between the two countries, increasing cooperation on issues of mutual interest and the prospects of future relations.
