“10th International Fire Safety & Security Expo 2025” organized by ESSAB will be held from 13th to 15th February

To enhance fire safety and reduce fire-related risks in Bangladesh, the 10th International Fire Safety & Security Expo 2025 will be held from February 13 to 15 at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center. Organized by the Electronics Safety and Security Association of Bangladesh (ESSAB), the expo will showcase cutting-edge technologies and equipment aimed at modernizing fire safety systems across the country.

At a press conference held on Monday (2 December, 2024), ESSAB President Niaz Ali Chishty stated, “As the economy grows, strengthening fire safety systems becomes crucial. The Fire Safety & Security Expo is an essential step towards achieving sustainable infrastructure and minimizing fire risks nationwide.”

ESSAB Secretary General Zakir Uddin Ahmed outlined the event’s details and shared that the expo will feature the latest innovations in fire protection and advanced equipment used to prevent fire hazards. A promotional video highlighting the exhibition was also presented during the conference, which is now available on various platforms and the official website.

Prominent figures attending the event included ESSAB Senior Vice President SM Shahjahan Saju, Joint Secretary General Md. Mahmud E. Khoda, Publicity Secretary Md. Nazrul Islam, and other board members. Partner organizations for the event include the Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence, BGMEA, BKMEA, FBCCI, and others.

Brigadier General (Retd.) Abu Shahidullah Nayeem, former Director General of Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence and an advisor to FBCCI, was the chief guest at the event. He emphasized the importance of the expo, saying, “This exhibition will play a significant role in modernizing and strengthening the country’s fire safety system.”

The three-day expo will be open to the public and will feature products and services from leading global brands. Organizers are optimistic that the expo will significantly contribute to the advancement of fire safety measures across various sectors, including industrial and residential domains, marking a milestone in the nation’s safety standards.
